Naihati ASP
The Naihati ASP (STP) is a 11.56 MLD plant under the KMDA with major units namely Inlet Collection Chamber, Grit Cum Flow Channel, Blower Room, Aeration Tank 2nos, Tube Settler tank 3nos, Recirculation unit, Sludge Sump, Sludge Thickener 2nos, Dilution tank, Filter Press Platform, Chlorination Tank and Lagoons. There are 1no LS and 1no MPS allied to the STP.
The major rejuvenation works executed here are:-
- Replacement and repairing of major Electromechanical units like Blower with diffusers, Sludge thickener units with sludge pumps, Recirculation Pump, Dilution Pump, Over Flow Feed Pump, LT Panel, Submersible Pump, Bar Screen, Flow Meter, Street Pole Light etc.
- The renovation works like desilting, plastering and restoration of major breakage including grouting of all tanks including Aeration Tank, Grit Cum Flow Channel, Collection Chamber, Tube settler tank.
- The renovation of all units including interconnecting pipelines of Blower Room, Recirculation Room, Chlorination Room, Over Flow Feed Pump Room etc.
- Survey, drawing and execution of desilting, repairing and laying of network pipeline from LS to MPS to STP of 1 km.
- The I&D structures at Thanakhal Drain and Keorapara khal have been developed with installation of lock gate to resist the flow of wastewater in the river Ganga.
- Construction of Laboratory Room with setup of lab equipment.
- All renovation works of the LS and MPS with inlet and outlet repairing and other allied works
- Ornamental works like construction concrete roads, boundary walls and other beautifications of the STP, LS & MPS.
